The Gliders in this category are not usually suitable for a beginner or newly qualified pilot, but are for pilots with some experience, perhaps pilots with lots of experience who will enjoy an easy ride! The EN B category is a very wide band, consisting of some easy low-end Bs a talented beginner might be fine with, Some mid Bs, usually a 2nd or more glider, and some high end Bs, which push the limits of the category, and are normally more suited to very confident and skilled pilots with over 100hrs airtime and some years experience.
