Independence Cornetto square reserve

The Cornetto is a square reserve at the same price level as most annular or rounds.

Square reserves like the Independence cornetto are becoming the norm, as pilots become aware of the quick and uniform inflation and filling properties and great stability they provide.

The Independence Cornetto Combines low weight, and small pack size, with simple packing and a sink rate similar to an annular, but with high pendular stability and fast reliable (consistent) openings.

The low height of the canopy helps with opening reliability even in tail slides or negative rotations.

 Since the mid-nineties, our Annular design has been the leading technology in rescue parachutes. With our cruciform parachutes, we consistently receive positive feedback from people who attended SIV and especially pilots who experienced emergency situations. That was the motivation for us to develop another new generation of cruciform reserves.

Our mid-range aim has been to replace the Annular design by a cost-effective cruciform parachute. Result of squaring the circle is the new serie Cornetto. A cruciform reserve at the price of an annular parachute!

This reserve has a 10 year lifespan extendable by 2 years with factory inspections and checks.
