Learning Paragliding in Wales can be a great option for those with patience and a little flexibility in their timetable. In fact, the sites and conditions we have in South Wales offer some of the best training anywhere in the world when the weather is good. The weather can be unreliable but using our forecasting services can save lots of time and frustration. On average, we can train about 80 days per year here. Winter time often gives some of the best training days. Even if you are considering doing a course abroad, it is a good idea to incorporate some training here in UK conditions and on our sites, especially if you intend to fly in the UK. All training is paid for 1 day at a time, and you will pay no more than our course maximum (4 days) even if it takes you longer, provided you complete within 15 months. We train all over South Wales from the Gower Peninsular, Rhosilli, Nr Swansea in the West, as far north into Mid Wales as Builth Wells and Kington, and Abergavenny and the Black Mountains are our closest sites in the East, We serve Cardiff well with most of our beginner sites around Merthyr Tydfil easily accessible, from Brecon Beacons, via the A470.
