This one-week Paragliding EP course in Southern Morocco for is probably the best course available for complete beginners. It starts on the dunes of Aglou Plage, and by the end of the week, you should have completed EP, be flying off an 800' 25km ridge at Nigels, and possibly started the first tasks of a BHPA CP Course.

Who is this trip for: Complete beginners can start their paragliding adventure on this course, It is also suitable for pilots who have had a lay off of 6 months or more to get back into the sport, with lots of ground practice and nice easy soaring conditions typically.

11 day option(Includes Atlas week)This option starts in Agadir for a pilot who is somewhere close to completion of EP recently, Or is EP qualified and hoping to complete CP, who has perhaps been on one of our dune trips and has not flown for a few months, This option gives the chance for refresher training, before starting CP in the Atlas, where the site is very high,. This option means we may not be able to collect you from Agadir, but can arrange a taxi (£40 ish) to meet you. (  you need to book 2 single flights outbound Agadir, return Marrakech)

2 week option (1 wk Agadir, 1 week Atlas) This week can be combined with the following week to complete the BHPA CP qualification, there is a reduced cost for 2 weeks.( you need to book 2 single flights outbound Agadir, return Marrakech)

Getting there.. Flights are not included, and you will need to arrange your flights. The earlier you book them, the cheaper they are. If you can book early you may get flights for £150 or less, close to the departure maybe £200-250 You might be able to be on the same flight that we go out on, which will make collecting kit easier if you are using ours. Each student will be responsible for transporting the kit out, and possibly back to us. (please check with us before you book flights and baggage)  Flights are available via Ryan Air Stanstead to Agadir or Easyjet Gatwick. ( if you take other flights and need to arrive early, it is easy to overnight in Morocco, rooms and taxi,s are cheap)

Staying there: We have a few great places to stay whilst there. Sometimes it will be at Hotel Abertih, or sometimes on take off at Nigels place, possibly even a night in a cave hotel, but where ever we stay, be prepared for an adventure and experience of the best kind. The course is HALF BOARD, evening meal and breakfast included!

Travel and Flight options. If you arrive on our dates, we will collect you and return you to the airport. It is possible to arrive before and leave after our dates, and taxis can be arranged to and from the Airport (Agadir 1.5 hrs Marrakech 5.5) There are also buses which are very cheap. We provide transport while you are there, and when you get to fly at Nigels there are lifts back up the mountain (no more walking (-:) There are many flights from Easy Jet, Ryan Air, and BA  can be a good option if you book early. Charter flights can work. Please always check with us before booking flights unless you are prepared to make your own arrangements when you get there.

Payment We require your deposit of £150 if you are booking more than 6 weeks before the trip. We require full payment inside 6 weeks before departure. You can also pay by card over the phone, or bank transfer. we will send an invoice with the details by email.

Warning. Paragliding in Morocco is certainly for the adventurous, it is a wonderful experience in a different culture and for most people, it is a fantastic experience they remember for the rest of their lives. We strive to keep these courses as safe as possible, and at all times your safety is our priority. It should be noted that we are in remote locations without access to UK standards of rescue. Marrakech / Agadir hospitals are of a high standard, but there are no Helicopters for rescue or ambulances with Paramedic outside the city. Axis staff are remote location first aid trained and qualified, but each client should understand the dangerous nature of the sport they are undertaking, and the difficulties these locations can present. Each pilot must have an Insurance policy, to cover rescue and repatriation and medical expenses that specifically states the policy will cover paragliding activities. These policies are available from many companies, we have listed some on our links page.
