Morocco 'Atlas' Pilot Guided week 17th -24th November 2024
This one week paragliding Guided Pilot holiday in Morocco for pilots already qualified to at least CP +20 hr or Pilot level and beyond. Ippi 4 min if non BHPA
This HALF BOARD course includes evening meal, Breakfast, transport, retrieves, shared room accommodation. (singles may be possible by arrangement
We will be exploring the Atlas, Anti Atlas and Coastal sites in the South of Morocco, It will be geared to flying on the best sites for the conditions at the time and we will relocate as we see where is best for the group to get the best experience. We may visit sites such as Aguergour, Ait Ourir, Tiz n test, M zouda, The Blue Rocks, Kerdous, Aglou, Eagles Nest, Legzira and others Arrive and depart Marakech airport.
Our Team will consist of at Least 1 experinced Instructor with local knowledge , and 1 local highly experienced Pilot and driver (s)
Getting there.. Flights are not included, and you will need to arrange your flights. The earlier you book them, the cheaper they are. If you can book early you may gets flights for £150 or less, close to the departure maybe £200-250 .
Travel and Flight options. If you arrive on our dates, we will collect you and return you to Marrakech airport. It is possible to arrive before our dates and leave after, We can suggest places to stay if you would like a day or two in Marrakech and taxis can be arranged to and from the Airport (Marakech - Aguergour 1hr) There are flights from Easy Jet, wizz air and BA can be a good option if you book early. Please always check with us before booking flights unless you are prepared to make your own arrangements when you get there.

Paragliding in Morocco is certainly for the adventurous, it is a wonderful experience in a different culture and for most people it is a fantastic experience they remember for the rest of their lives. We strive to keep these courses as safe as possible, and at all times your safety is our priority. It should be noted that we are in remote locations without access to UK standards of rescue. Marrakech / Agadir hospitals are of a high standard, but there are no Helicopters for rescue, or ambulances with Paramedic outside the city. Axis staff are remote location first aid trained and qualified, but each client should understand the dangerous nature of the sport they are undertaking, and the difficulties these locations can present. Each pilot must have an Insurance policy, to cover rescue and repatriation and medical expenses that specifically states the policy will cover paragliding activities.
