This paragliding/paramotoring course at the Dunede Pyla, France is for complete beginners and
also those who have already done some paragliding and wish to progress beyond BHPA Elementary Pilot and towards Club Pilot qualifications.
It is also suitable for qualified pilots looking for some relaxing flying, and to hone their skills.The location
is the incredible Dune de Pyla, set in the stunning Archachon Basin. Here the Dune rises to nearly 300'
above the sea, and has been formed by the reliable onshore sea breeze. This provides an excellent
learning environment, for all standards of pilot, The ocean providing laminar smooth air, and the Dune,
a soft forgiving hill to soak up any mistakes! From beginner to Acro pilot there is lots of fun to be had
on the Dune! For Paramotorists a great forgiving location to do all your un-powered flights with a nice
soft beach to land on.

Our courses provide all you need to progress safely in paragliding,
step by step instruction, with clear demonstrations, from highly
experienced instructors, interspersed with all the theory you need to
help you progress, and to pass your exams! Our courses are great
fun and we do our best to give individual attention where required.
Many of our students want to return, year after year, not because
they did not complete their tasks, but because they enjoy the
courses immensely and have a fantastic holiday!

Our trip Includes pick up and return from Bordeaux Airport to the Dune.
We stay in lovely chalet style huts in the pine forest behind the Dune on
a campsite.The Holiday is self catering, and we will run you to local
supermarkets for supplies. Starter packs will be provided.
(Tea coffee milk soap etc.)This location has great facilities: swimming pool,
bar/restaurant,shop etc., and is a nice place for non-flyers, and children, so families are welcome. There are
towns locally with bars, shops and nightlife, If you still have the energy!

PRICES 2014

Courses BHPA Elementary Pilot or Club Pilot ( one week or 5 days maximum training)
the cost is £575 per course and includes all equipment. Any extra days can be paid
locally @ £100. - 2 wks EP+CP = £1150

CP+ (qualified pilot with own kit) Courses are just £275 per week, and include guiding and instuction if desired. Low cost flights to Bordeaux are usually
available for under £100 return, often much less if you book early. See links above.
Non Flying friends or partners are welcome @ £290 per week in shared accommodation,
or for a private 4 person chalet there is a £100 supplement.

Superior Chalet Accommodation, (not mobile homes) local transport and return transfers*
from Bordeaux for 7 nights are £170 per person per week. (* Only on course transfer days.
If you need to come on alternative days you will have to make your own transport
arrangements, Which are quite easy and cheap by rail from Bordeaux to Arcachon)

You will need medical rescue and repatriation insurance which is available from
Harrison Beaumont - or sportscoverdirect Dogtag J S InsuranceYou will also need at least a training membership of the BHPA
if you wish this course to count towards UK qualifications.
